I am a qualified and experienced English to French translator, reviewer and editor to clients ranging from academia to the medical, pharma and biotech sectors. I have a strong professional background in life sciences, having worked as a scientist in neurobiology and pathological mechanism research. I combine this experience with an in-depth knowledge of scientific French and English and a long-standing track record in high-quality technical translations.
Among others, I specialise in the fields of neglected tropical diseases and rare pathologies, whether to translate and review resources and websites aimed at patients and the general public or highly technical materials required by clinicians or researchers.

I founded Destrument Translations in 2013 after training in general, scientific and technical translation and achieving the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

I am a Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), the only UK-based independent professional membership association for practising translators, interpreters and language service providers. I strictly adhere to the ITI Code of Professional Conduct and deliver translations of the highest quality standards as defined by the ITI. I have obtained the ISO 17100:2015 status in 2024.
