I am a qualified translator specialising in scientific, medical and pharmaceutical fields where a high degree of precision and attention to detail are crucial.

 

I translate and review technical, medical and scientific documents from English into French for the biotech, pharma and life sciences sectors. Approved templates and terminology, such as QRD templates and MedDRA terminology, are used whenever applicable.

  • I have a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc Hons) from Leeds University, UK, and a PhD Diploma in Animal Biology from The University of Manchester, UK.

 

  • I worked as a postdoctoral researcher  investigating disease pathology at Newcastle University, UK, and I contributed to a drug development program. 

  • I am experienced at writing highly specialised documents including study reports, scientific journal articles, grant applications, abstracts, posters and presentations.​

Linguistic background

  • I founded Destrument Translations in 2013 after training in general, scientific and technical translation and achieving the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
